sadley many people have famlies full time jobs etc. there are still a few well known ex pirate djs out there,i agree if you where involed in the scene backin the day you still have your memories. i was involved in many stations when i was growing up, running & setting them up with some good people from birmingham etc. i still listen to the few that are on nowdays; [ also still keep looking on tower blocks roofs when going past them ] sad;; unlike london the west midlands dont really have that buzz anymore, fairplay to freedom fm for returning back on fm, used to listen to them along with exile fm power house radio dub fm second city fm magic fm dance fm pcrl enterprize fm power unity fm fm metro fm fresh fm wax fm devious fm time fm starlight fm diemension fm weekend rush sweet fm mix fm kool fm silk city radio fuzion fm kriss fm too name a few; shame there aint much happening round birmingham & the black country, lets get something going for the west mids.. im sure there are a couple of people like myself who feel like this & also 1 or 2 rig builders local,

Sounds like good plan. We done few tests but 95.1 is taken up with noise so need a new frequency pain cause I was half way thru building a 3/4 wave co linear

99.7 seems to be free at the moment, previously used by Groove and Distinct

I had noticed 99.7 free and got my eye on couple more too. Think it needs a last blast on 95.1 first maybe birdy song on repeat with rds saying kriss may as well ruin there credibility lol

94.2? With Skyline going legal on Wolvo Small Scale DAB they wont be using it...

There is a licensed station on 99.6 in Coventry these days which makes it to me in NE birmingham so you might not want to use too much power on 99.7

103.5 is still unused. And is a pretty well known pirate frequency around the West Midlands.

Luckily Turners Hill pretty much blocks Coventry from the Black Country and vice versa so for a Black Country station 99.7 is still viable.
