Robin Wood (of Radio Christina)

Post by andypryce »

It appears that Robin is currently living in Redditch and indulging in Amateur Radio. Redditch Council (nice friendly people) issued him with an ASBO because of the untidy state of his aerials/cables etc. Robin is either blind or almost completely blind - you would think the council would be more helpful. I crossed swords with this same council once when they made me take down my fishing shelter on one of their lakes - it was pouring down with rain & they expected me to fish without a shelter!

When I get time I will visit Robin to see how he is these days - its been many years since I last saw him!

A council spokesman said: "Residents are concerned about the visual impact of this resident's aerials"

Having worked in that area many times over the last few years i would think there would be other things that "residents" should be more concerned about.....

Nice find Martin ;)

Ive seen the newspaper reports and tv clips and I must admit I am uterley disgusted at redditch council, they should be ashamed of themselved for even thinking of resolving a matter like this with an ASBO it will not benefit them, the community or Mr wood.

They should try and help him...

Their is surely a sensible way to deal with this, lets hope the council come to their sense`s.
