Just found this site and forum. some great recordings from Sunshine.

Good to hear both Roger Matthews and Alan Jones again.

Assume Matthews is the same as person as was on Caroline?

Yes, the same Roger that was on Caroline in the 70s. He still does the odd show for Caroline on the internet now.

He also used the name Jack Daniels on Sunshine in 1983.

The Sunshine page has been updated again today with some relatively rare recordings from New years day 1982.

There is also another technical info sheet from December 1984.

I would just like to thank whoever has put up all of the Sunshine Radio recordings and information. It has brought back a lot of memories, although I wasn't very old at the time. I've been listening to the latest New Years Day recording and I'm probably a little bias, but I think my Dad sounds great! I can picture him now sitting at the mike surrounded by cardboard egg trays for soundproofing! Thank you again and I will enjoy listening to them. Mum recorded the Stooke Hill Estate Agents ad in our bathroom because it had good acoustics! From James harding's daughter.

Thought I'd bump this thread to point out the the Sunshine Radio page has been updated.

There are 6 new recordings from the summer of 1983, when the station was only broadcasting weekends, before they went 7 days a week.
