Heh,heh. Yeah I noticed that too.

I 'spose now 103.6 and 106.8 are used or allocated for community radio, it's not just pirates that are short of clear frequencies.

Having said that, you'd think Ofcom could do something better than that. If I'd paid out £X grand for an RSL I'd be pretty pissed off...

And, Dudley Mosque is Line Of Site from Walsall's TX site. hahahah :)

To be honest, I'm urprised they didnt allocate 95.1 to one of em.

Whats going on 106.8?

I think it's SACDA Radio (Sandwell, West Midlands).

It was awarded the same time as Ambur.

Ha, yeah - that Saturday was funny.... Fucking worst studio you've ever seen, and a lot of eating going on considering it was Ramadan and daylight. :laugh

I dunno if we did a good job or not, seeing as we didnt have it on in the car on the way back!

No guesses which one wins here ......

Dead stereo carrier although sounds like they have some noise on their link, not as bad as the one year though where they had a hiss coming out of the one channel :confused3

Still RDS just says Dudley, no sign of anything else

What a stupid bit of planning and why can't they use 87.6????

It will be a nice mess in Willenhall etc, although the Dudley one will win hands down me thinks :D

Win for Dudley here, 16dB, Stereo, cant see the RDS. Audio seems okay, musics not really to my taste :laugh

Not a sign of Walsall.

Maybe the gaffa tape holding the aerial has failed :rolleye
